Biography and Background

My wife, Leigh, and I have been married for 38 years. We grew up in the Guntersville and Albertville areas of North Alabama. We are an AUBURN TIGER FAMILY, with us and our three grown children being proud graduates of Auburn University.

The Auburn and Lake Martin areas have been our home the past 12 years, and we’ve loved absolutely every minute. Regardless of your personal interests, this place has so much to offer in a never-ending slate of fun things to do and a wide array of eateries. When I was a student at Auburn, I had a professor say, “You will never live in a better place or with better people than you do now.” He was absolutely spot on; that’s why we moved back!

I have a passion for working with and serving people. I’m a retired school superintendent, serving public schools in Alabama for 33 years, 12 as a classroom teacher/coach and 21 years in school administration. As I approached retirement in my education career, it was important for me to find an avenue to stay connected with people. My educational experience coupled with my life-long interests in real estate led me to secure my real estate license in 2018.

I believe in the value of teamwork. Being a part of a successful team has always been a rewarding experience. With that reasoning, I’m a proud member of the team at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices, Preferred Real Estate, in Auburn, AL.
