Biography and Background

Derek Brown, a Lee County native and lifelong Auburn fan has been helping buyers and sellers with their real estate needs since 2020. Derek spent 4 years in in the Marine Corps and moved back to Lee County in 2008. Before pursuing his dream of becoming a Realtor, Derek worked as a Sales and Marketing Leader in the Medical Field. Derek graduated from Liberty University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology in 2013. Derek is also currently a Professional, Sales and Leadership Coach.

Derek and his wife, Elysa live in Opelika with their daughter Kaitlyn, their dog Bailey and cat, Gus. Derek is ready and able to assist both buyers and sellers in all facets of their real estate needs. He is dedicated to his clients and does what it takes to see transactions through to fruition.
