Biography and Background

Growing up in Aliceville, Alabama, Joy always had a song in her heart. After graduating from the University of Alabama she used her love of music and teaching in Auburn City Schools and Lee-Scott Academy. Joy has also served as an Assistant Minister of Music and Worship Leader at Trinity United Methodist Church and currently serves on the board for GCIM International Ministry to India. She enjoys being a FCA Ambassador and leads a weekly Coaches' Wives Bible study for East Alabama FCA. "I’m thrilled to be a part of the BHHS team," Joy said. "The welcoming spirit within and the wealth of knowledge and experience shared made it an easy choice for me. I look forward to many years of growing and expanding my friendships through real estate and Berkshire Hathaway!" Joy is married to Bobby Samford. They have five children and 2 grandchildren, with another on the way. Joy is active in mentoring and serving at Auburn Community Church.
