Biography and Background

When it comes to real life experience in buying and selling, one of Berkshire Hathaway’s newest agents takes the cake! Having moved almost thirty times during her life, Lisa Dennis knows what it takes to be successful in building, buying and selling real estate in any market condition.

Growing up in Atlanta, Lisa went on to attend the University of Georgia where she met and married her husband, Steve. When Steve was called to join the coaching staff at Auburn in 1985, Lisa was a little reluctant. “When we moved to Auburn from Atlanta I had to say… it was culture shock,” explains Lisa. “I think there was a Burger King, a Hardee’s and the Sanifreeze. I remember telling my husband, ‘I’m not sure I can do this.’”

Now - thirty years later - even after multiple coaching moves, Lisa and her family have always considered Auburn their home. The Dennis’ four children, Chris, Cale, Corey and Allison, were all born in Auburn and three of the four have graduated or will graduate from Auburn University. It’s in their blood. “Auburn is such a wonderful place to live and raise a family,” said Lisa. “I wouldn’t want to be anywhere else.”

Lisa worked closely with BHHS Owner and CEO, Stacy Williams Jordan, when they were both REALTORS at Hometown Realty. “In our short time together at Hometown, I realized what a true professional Stacy really was,” explained Lisa. “When I decided to go back to work for a company in Auburn and Lake Martin I chose the company Stacy owned because I knew it would always be run with the highest level of integrity and professionalism.”
