Biography and Background

Originally from Maryland, Michy earned a degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management from Virginia Tech (Go Hokies!). She began her career as a Special Events Manager in Richmond, Virginia, before marrying her husband Tim, a Navy pilot. Their journey took them to Jacksonville, FL, before they settled in the charming village of Opelika, AL—a place they quickly fell in love with and are proud to call home with their daughter.

As a military spouse, Michy has relocated multiple times and understands the unique challenges of military life, including deployments and frequent moves. She takes great pride in using that experience to make the buying and selling process as smooth and stress-free as possible, especially for fellow military families.

Michy’s extensive relocation expertise makes her an invaluable resource for those searching for their dream home. She has a deep appreciation for the Auburn/Opelika community and loves introducing her clients to all it has to offer. Passionate about giving back, Michy serves on the Opelika Historic Preservation Society board and volunteers at the local primary school.
