Biography and Background

Moriah grew up on her family’s farm in Roanoke, Alabama. She and her younger sister spent their childhood days climbing trees, wading in creeks and riding double on a very old, very grumpy pony. After high school, Moriah attended Troy University, where she majored in Criminology and Psychology. Like so many others, she found herself drawn to the Loveliest Village on the Plains where she met her husband, Blake.

Blake and Moriah are both HUGE animal lovers and spend most of their spare time enjoying their Golden Doodle, Clover, and their cat, Darryl. Many nights in the Taylor household include the entire gang piled onto the couch watching Netflix and eating Twizzlers (Clover’s favorite). Moriah also loves travelling and will be making a dream trip to Ireland to visit a castle that was built by her ancestors in the 1600s.

Moriah began working at Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices in March of 2016 as Closing Coordinator for the team of Annie Williams and Ryan Edwards. “I can say without reservation that it was one of the best decisions of my life,” explained Moriah. “I’m somewhat reserved and very detail-oriented, so I love that this position allows me to work behind the scenes to make sure things always run smoothly.”
