Prudential Preferred Bringing Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Brand to Auburn-Opelika

Posted January 1, 2015

Prudential Preferred Real Estate is excited to announce their new affiliation with one of the most recognized brands in the world. On March 17th, 2015, Prudential Preferred Real Estate will become Berkshire Hathaway HomeServices Preferred Real Estate. The name change is a result of Berkshire Hathaway acquiring a majority stake in Prudential Real Estate in 2012.

“We are more than excited to be executing this anticipated name change,” commented Stacy Williams Jordan, President and Owner of Prudential Preferred Real Estate. “Even though our name is changing, it’s still the same ownership, agent roster and support team as in previous years. We remain committed to providing the best service from the most knowledgeable real estate pros in the market.”

The name change includes the addition of some of the most powerful online tools in the world. Agents will have access to an expanded suite of applications to provide the most accurate, timely and exclusive information on the Auburn, Opelika and Lee County real estate markets. Buyers and sellers will have access to the most accurate data about the market and the homes available.

The roll-out of the BHHS Preferred Real Estate brand will include a logo change that will be prominently featured throughout company branding, marketing and advertising. Local residents will begin to see promotional campaigns for the name change soon.

“We’ve worked extremely hard over the past eight years to build the Prudential Real Estate brand locally,” said Mrs. Jordan. “Our focus on quality, integrity and market knowledge has fueled our growth to #1 and we’ve found the strength and respect of the Berkshire Hathaway name aligns most closely with our plans for the future. We’re looking forward to bringing them to Auburn-Opelika.”
